Wedding: Johnny + Natalie

Tuesday, November 1, 2016

Three years ago, I remember getting a phone call from Natalie right before she was going to leave for Thailand to continue her travel adventures. She said to me, "What I'm going to tell you is something that I put a lot of time and thought into". I didn't know what to expect and was getting nervous thinking about what it could be. I was immediately surprised when she shared with me what she had concluded. Natalie told me she had decided she was going to single for the rest of her life. Instantly, my heart dropped the moment she told me and all of these thoughts went running through my head. We grew up talking and giggling over boys and had dreams of marrying our Nick Carter some day and to think —my best friend, close cousin, a woman with such a huge heart, contagious smile, and beautiful soul didn't want to share it with someone else?!!! *Sigh, in that moment I just couldn't say any of that to her. I loved her too much and wanted so badly to respect her decision at that time so I just listened, but did I remain hopeful? Heck yeah!!! I knew she was too special.

Thank you Johnny for never giving up! For as long as I have known Natalie, this guy has loved her from afar and has not stopped trying to pursue and win her heart. I love you both very much! Johnny, thank you for loving my girl the way that you do. Seeing her light up not just the day of your guys' wedding, but all the days leading up to it and the rest of our time on the Big Island in Hawaii, brings all of us such joy. It was a delight and honor to have witnessed and celebrated you two becoming one and to have captured some moments of that day.

I would also like to thank my husband for taking photos during the wedding ceremony while I had to perform my bridesmaid duties hehe.
